From historic Salt Lake neighborhoods to luxury Wasatch Back custom builds.
From the historic neighborhoods of the Salt Lake Valley to the luxury custom builds of the Wasatch Back, Snow Top Electric understands the unique electrical demands of Utah homes. We know what it takes to power our communities through every season — whether that means wiring dedicated circuits for winter heat tape and hot tubs, or installing advanced Lutron automation in mountain estates. As a trusted, owner-operated business, we take pride in delivering flawless, climate-ready results to the neighbors we serve every day.

Heat cable lives in the Wasatch Back.
Most of our heat-cable work is in Park City, Midway, Kamas, and Heber City — roof edges, valleys, gutters, and downspouts where deep snow loads make ice dams a real problem rather than a cosmetic one.
New-construction work concentrates in the Wasatch Back too — Lutron RA3, dedicated EV circuits, and low-voltage runs alongside the framing.
Service area questions.
Coverage, scheduling, and what to expect when we head your way.
My town isn't on the list. Will you still come out?
Probably, yes. The list above is where we work regularly, but we cover most of the Wasatch corridor between Salt Lake and Park City. Call and tell us where you are — if we're close, we'll quote it. If we're not, we'll tell you who to call instead.
Do you charge a travel fee for jobs in the Wasatch Back?
No surprise fees. Park City, Heber, Midway, and Kamas are part of our regular route, so we price those jobs the same way we price valley work. If a job is unusually remote or off-season, we tell you upfront before we schedule.
How fast can you get to me?
Most days Zach answers the phone, and we return any missed calls the same day. Routine work usually books within the week. True emergencies — no power, a sparking panel, water in a fixture — get same-day or next-day attention whenever we can swing it.
What's different about wiring a mountain home vs. a valley home?
A lot. Up high we plan for snow loads, freeze-thaw, and long runs across big lots — heat cable on roof edges and gutters, dedicated circuits for hot tubs and snowmelt, and Lutron RA3 in homes where the lighting plan is part of the architecture. In the valley it is more service upgrades, panel work, EV chargers, and remodel rewires. We do both every week.
Are you licensed and insured to work across these counties?
Yes. Snow Top Electric is a licensed Utah electrical contractor, owner-operated by Zach Morrison since 2020, insured through Summit Risk Management with WCF Insurance, and a Lutron Certified Installer for Caséta and RA3. Same crew, same standards, whether we are in Murray or Midway.
Outside the list?
Call and tell us where you are. If we’re close, we’ll quote it. If we’re not, we’ll tell you who to call instead.
